Congregation at Duke Chapel

University Students and Young Adults

University students and young adults are welcome to participate in all aspects of our congregational life. We enjoy intergenerational activities, learning from each other across the generations. In addition, the Congregation offers several ministries that are specific to University students and adults in the 20's and 30's.

Triple T (Tuesday, Table, Talk)

Twice a month, young adults meet for a simple supper, Bible study, and laughter. Whether you know a lot about the Bible or nothing at all, you will be in the right place. We are all learners. Supper is provided; an optional contribution of $3 for the meal is welcomed. Gatherings will be at 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel Lounge, located in the lower level of the Chapel, on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month.dinner.jpg

Friday Night Out

A casual dinner in one of Durham's great (and affordable!) local restaurants to make new friends and deepen existing friendships is the goal of Friday Night Out. Participants each purchase their own meal. The gatherings on the third Friday of the month at 6:30 p.m. Please email congregation@duke.edu for details.

Pub Theology

Whatever you drink and whatever you think, you are warmly welcome at the table. Questions, doubts, and a desire to discuss are the only requirements. Pub Theology meets on the first Thursday night of the month at 7:00 p.m. at Pour Taproom, 202 N. Corcoran Street in downtown Durham. Participants purchase their own beverages.
